This position is accountable and responsible for all aspects of quality service of our private household clients and local business clients utilizing our Insurance products; contacts and assists clients in obtaining information for Insurance related concerns; responds to and resolves client questions and problems and delivers high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Possess a service mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service support across a client's lifecycle.
  • Learn and carry out GTM's service philosophy and actions.
  • Uphold a high rate of client retention and satisfaction through providing quality service and active listening.
  • Complete applications, questionnaires, request loss runs, issue binders and certificates of insurance. Learn the products that are available through the agency's carriers and be comfortable making recommendations to clients.
  • Upon renewal, review client's coverage to determine if better pricing can be obtained with another carrier. Provide assistance to clients on outstanding claims to assist in resolving them quickly and efficiently.
  • Review existing client files to offer and quote additional coverages.
  • Work closely with the payroll department to ensure a seamless transition and an exceptional client experience for new and existing clients.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Time management skills, including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills in order to meet customer needs and resolve customer service issues.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to build relationships
  • Have proven facility in common computer programs as well as the technical aptitude to learn and use new systems.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team for a common goal

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a related field
  • 2 years experience servicing client accounts
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Property and Casualty brokers' license
